That's cool and all, and I have pretty loud pipes on my bikes, but pizzing off the neighbors is a really good formula for ever-increasing legislation and enforcement of reduced sound levels.
In other words, people like you who pizz off their neighbors make it harder on all of us.
Ever take a moment to think about stuff like that?
Wasn't a literal statement, sorry. My neighbors do like me, and my bikes, I just feel bad when I have to work super early... Besides my bikes not nearly as loud as the 71 Chevelle down the street with the 572 on board
I've been informed that when I start my bike, it's like the gates of hell opening. No joke, when I started it near my friend's girlfriend, she started crying.
I was asked "What's the deal with loud pipes?", to which I replied "I'm not trying to be obnoxious, but when I'm rolling down the highway, and the people next to me have to roll up their windows, or put their fingers in their ears, that signals to me that they know I'm there, so they're less likely to pull into my lane and kill me"

My neighbors hate me with or without a bike. I had a two year period when I didn't have a bike and nothing changed. They hate themselves and are jealous of my lifestyle. I guess if I had a 300 lb skank wife and I saw the neighbors new hot girlfriend the bike would be a moot point.
Bassani Pro streets, and they are very loud, and I like it that way. I can see people looking for me in their mirrors on the highway when Im 100 yards behind them, so they serve the intended purpose. I honestly could give a **** whether it pisses people off or not They cant be pissed at me if they dont know Im there!
