That's cool and all, and I have pretty loud pipes on my bikes, but pizzing off the neighbors is a really good formula for ever-increasing legislation and enforcement of reduced sound levels.
In other words, people like you who pizz off their neighbors make it harder on all of us.

I've been informed that when I start my bike, it's like the gates of hell opening. No joke, when I started it near my friend's girlfriend, she started crying.
I was asked "What's the deal with loud pipes?", to which I replied "I'm not trying to be obnoxious, but when I'm rolling down the highway, and the people next to me have to roll up their windows, or put their fingers in their ears, that signals to me that they know I'm there, so they're less likely to pull into my lane and kill me"

Bassani Pro streets, and they are very loud, and I like it that way. I can see people looking for me in their mirrors on the highway when Im 100 yards behind them, so they serve the intended purpose. I honestly could give a **** whether it pisses people off or not

Never had a neighbor complain, have received some compliments from some of them.
