I'm looking to add some more throat and loudness to my exhaust. I found a couple of threads on these baffles but am looking for more info.
Does anyone have any long term issues with these baffles caused from the reduced back pressure?
I dug up a few videos with decent quality but can't really tell a difference in sound. You obviously have to hear them in person. So for you guys that have these, how much of a difference do they make?
Thanks.
All they are is a washer welded to the end of a bolt with the tube necked around it. I just made some at home for $5. sounded loud and deep but I'm sure I lost some HP

True...they are basically a lollipop design but they do have a slight depression in the middle of the pipe to disrupt more airflow so it looks to be a slight better design than just a lollipop itself.
I've been running their baffles for about 6 years. Not one issue at all. The bike runs fine and I didn't notice any loss in hp.
You won't really get the full effect of the sound from a video. But trust me in person you can tell. If you're looking for a deeper, throatier sound than trust me these are worth it.

Great product. Ran them is several bikes. Just give BCT a call and tell them what pipes you have. They'll send you the correct size baffles plus a T-Shirt.
I put some in my V&H longshots. Tried the stock V&H baffles, no baffles, and the BCT. I felt like it improved the performance and sound over the original baffles. When I ran without baffles it was load but not a deep sounds and the bike lost some bottom end, the BCT fixed that. I would recommend them again for sure.
I just put the DK customs thunder torque inserts in mine and from the looks of those baffles, it looks like I accomplished the same thing for a third of the price

Same scenario for me except I have the Big Shots Staggered and I got the BCT QQ Monsters.
They don't sound all that much more quiet than straight pipes at idle behind the bike but they make a whole helluva lot of difference riding. Also found a tip on here that you can cut the cone off the QQ baffles and they are the same as the Monster Baffles.
