Good to know you weren't seriously injured. Sorry to hear that the bike didn't fair well. I know how that can make you feel, particularly if you have babied the bike and have shown great amounts of pride in ownership. Good thing is, it can be fixed or replaced. Hang in there man, it'll be back to you b/4 you know it.
Glad you are OK.
I totaled my Street Bob in July. Spent 5 days in 2 different hospitals in Montana. Took 3 months screwing around with insurance company. October 1st I brought home a new Fat Boy Lo.
Bikes can be repaired or replaced. You sir cannot. I thank my lucky stars every day that I am still above ground.
Heal fast and in no time flat you will be back on two wheels!
here are a couple pics right after I put the Vance and Hines exhaust on.
looked good man... I'm sure in time it will be back in action, good as new. sucks to be hit, but glad to hear you weren't seriously seriously injured, thats what matters! i hear too many bad stories from people hit by cagers.

Glad to hear you are ok. Don't b surprised if the bike is totalled. The parts on these bikes are worth a lot and the insurance companies know it. They totalled my 2001 fatboy with 5k miles. Basically had tank and fender damage. They paid me 3k more than I bought it for so I was happy. Now I have a Heritage and like it much better!
Just like every one else has said "glad tour OK and the bike can be fixed.
I've been down a couple of times, the first time was the worst, in a coma for three days and two weeks missing from my memory, the second time just bumps and bruises.
Both times got the bikes fixed and moved on.
As for the cagers we always need to keep our heads on a swivel.
