Default How to waterproof ECM connector after moving?

I've moved the ECM behind the seat as my new fender attaches to the swing arm. As it will now be exposed to the elements I want to ensure the connector is fully waterproof.

Any suggestions on the best way of doing this?

Thanks,

Railton.

Use that dielectric grease in and around the connector.

Thanks for the advice. I also thought about covering the connect and top of ECM with self-amalgamating rubber tape to be safe. Do you see any issues with that?

I've always found the dielectric grease to be best, I found tape eventually works loose somewhere and just traps water.
