For some reason it just won't fill with air & raise
Was out riding tonight and it got stuck down amd had to drag my pipes all the way home... Did a bit of a number on them too
So the compressor works & when I disconect the air line can feel it pumping air strongly, but it's like the shocks themselves are jammed?
Had a couple of mates try to lift it while operating the compressor and lifted the back tyre off the ground in the process but it's stuck all the way down
I can hear the switches clicking and the compressor working but no movement up ?
I have emailed JD for help but I've got a big ride this weekend which I don't want to sit out so hoping for a simple fix
That's a bum deal, sorry to hear. On a good note though, JD stands behind his product 100% and is good at returning calls and emails so I'm sure he'll get back to you ASAP.

Thanks mate
I'm really hoping for some of that legendary service
You said you heard air escaping...when the compressor is running? Sounds like that there is where to look first. You said you had/have it jacked way up and the swingarm is at the bottom of its swing? Can you get your head under there with a strong light and have a friend hit the switches? Try and find where the air is escaping from.
Sorry if I'm just telling you stupid sh*t you've already done but...
If you can hear air escaping from inside the twin body of the shock...it's time to bring/send it to the Shotgun folks. They wouldn't need all the gizmos, just the body. You did save your old stockers right? Throw'em back in there for your ride. It may take a while to sort it out.

mix up some dish washing detergent and water and spray that around anywhere you think there is a leak, it will bubble where there is a leak. Even a small on
Does anyone else have the experience of them being jerky when they raise up and not smooth? Mine with shoot up a little bit, stop, shoot up a little bit, stop, and repeat until it's all the way up. It's not a constant smooth rise.
I dont picture a leak coming from the shock body itself. It's most likely going to be between check valve, air line, and compressor. I had a leak a few months ago. Hit up JD and he suspected the check valve. Sent me a replacement valve and that did the job. Hope you get it figured out before the ride!
