Does anyone know of a company that sells a kit that deletes the lisence plate brackets under the taillight? i wanna get a side mount bracket and woudl like to get rid of the stock plastic bracket. THX
That looks really nice ChopperHammer, Ever think of putting a little of that chromedoor edging materialthey sell for car doors on that bottom edge, or all around the outer edges?
Personally I like the Tri-Bar LED better as it fill that whole space up completely. If you don't want to mount the plate under it, its a simple cutting job to get rid of the plate mounting piece.
I did the same thing as Hammer with my 07 Nightrain. I used gloss black paint but I think wrinkle paint is a great idea. Be careful with the saw and take your time sanding things smooth and it will come out great... I think you can see my tailigght in the pic below.. Good luck

I went with the Panacea tail light since I also removed my rear turn signals. The HD tri bar is prettynice.

I looked at that one too before going for the Tri-Bar. If your going to get rid of the stock turn signals its one of the best options around.
But I never have cared for theoriginal lens shape and so didn't give it more than a passing thought.
I have to admit it does look a lot better setup with the smoked lens than I thought it would.
But its still not nice enough (for my taste) to make me wish I hadn't done theTri-Bar.
Especially with the Bob Tail rack I have on it.
