I agree with you. A long fender would look out of place. I'm gonna look at that site you referred me to and then Flea Bay.

I was considering doing that, did plenty of metal work for the airlines so I have the tools but wasn't sure how to deal with the multiple layers of metal welded together on the underside. If I cut it just forward of the original turn signal holes there's structure spot welded on the underside that seems to be reinforcement and shielding for the light wiring. What did you do with that so it wasn't visible after the cut?

I know exactly what you're taking about. I was worried about that same exact thing.
When I took it to the painter to get re-sprayed they filled it in on the edge so well that you can't really notice the difference in thickness on the edges.

I wouldn't worry about it dude. You won't notice it after its done.

Floorboards won't move your brake pedal any closer. However, you could add material to the front of the pedal to get it closer.
Remember when your parents got you a tricycle that was a little too large, so your dad added wood blocks to the pedals so you could reach them?

Same kind of deal.

I had a fatboy lo for a while and I could reach those, wouldn't it be the same setup? Couldn't I rotate the pedal back with the floorboards. I have thought about adding a block to the pedal??

is there any other way to reduce it or am I just hosed??
