I had a fatboy lo for a while and I could reach those, wouldn't it be the same setup? Couldn't I rotate the pedal back with the floorboards. I have thought about adding a block to the pedal??
is there any other way to reduce it or am I just hosed??
I don't see any easy way to rotate the brake pedal back without doing some cutting and welding. Maybe the brake lever from the Fatboy would fit with the Fatboy floorboard assembly? It looks like the footpeg would need to be moved out of the way to use that brake lever.
Or go to the dealer and take a look at the footpeg/master cylinder/brake lever assembly on a Breakout. The brake pedal looks further back, and there's a good chance this assembly or parts would bolt on (basically the same frame).
I can't pm him for some reason. Give him a heads up
Hey I sent you a message via email and I provided my cell #. Call me at about 11 am or text me. definitely willing to help. I had to use a regular softail break pedal. I also had to use spacers between the bracket and frame because the exhaust stuck out to far....I have vance and hines short shots. I also had to shave off a little part of the heat shield to allow so the brake assembly so it didn't hit the exhaust.
Putting floorboards did bring my pedal back about 1.5 inches just because of the way its positioned.

Yeah, this is the rocker place. HFJ probably has the best rocker this forum has seen. Micahpop has been missing but also super nice. These are maybe the best harleys to mod, but if you hang around here it can get really expensive!! Best harleys(rockers) ever tho!!!
Been on here 2 years now. Wish I knew how to post pics. Lol.
