Default Tire Size

What is the biggest tire I can run on the rear of my 92 FatBoy before running into problems?

Just to keep you going and this may not be the right answer,

My 2003 glide max rear tire size is MU85-16 and you must remove the plastic lower belt guard or the wheel will lock up when you push it backwards

Default some tires differ

depending on the manufacturer, but a 140 by metzler will fit.

One size over has been the norm for 50 yrs... just do some home work as all tires are not the same size...

Won't help the OP much as there is no 92 on the list...what will fit a 2000 softail will not fit a 99.
