Well mine has never come on other than when I hit 6th gear, but then, I'm not looking at the speedo much when I'm going that fast. That's why it would bug me. I'd be like going down the road, have a cage pull out in front of me, go to down shift and have the green light come on and I'd be like wtf I'm in 6th? Then BAM! another cage hits me from the other side 'cause I was distracted by the light and didn't see it coming, ( even though my cat like reflexes could have avoided it). Then, before I've even hit the ground in my free fall, here comes that danm garbage truck from out of nowhere and runs right over me from behind! End of story. Didn't even get to pull my gun. Just not a good deal having that light come on out of sequence, see what I mean?

 

LOL - Most of the time I can't see the damn indicator when I am in 6th!


That said - Let them fix it. Could be a sign of other issues that would come later.
