Why do you want to put a fork brace on? I see a lot of these threads about fork braces and am curious why you would want to spend money on something that you really don't need other than looks?

Fork braces do work, because SOME forks can have noticeable flex. My suggestion is ride your bike without one, take some curves and see how it feels. If you dont notice anything then dont buy the brace

Dyna, despite me being the worst fork brace salesman ever, I will say that it works as far as adding stability to the front end. RSD doesn't advertise it as such, but it is a tad more stable then the fender, and definitely more stable than nothing. This is most noticeable on the superslab here.
amike, let me know if you want to buy my RSD brace. Send me a private message and I'll send you some pics of it. It's mint, with hardware.
Find the cheapest price you can new for it online, and I'll knock a third off that.

Slim, I have ran a brace before, I ran the RSD brace as a matter of fact on a 883R I had, rode it twice took it off and never looked back. Currently I have a fatboy with no fork brace and a 21 X 3.5 wheel up front, I live in SoCal just like you I have ridden hundreds of miles on the "superslab" just like you, I have NEVER had a unstable feeling from no fork brace or fender. All I'm saying is if it makes you feel more comfortable by all means buy it but my opinion is they are a waste of money. 90% of riders don't ride hard enough to notice any difference its a money grab by a guy that builds 90% of his stuff for looks..I have plenty of his stuff on my bike but to me its a waste of money. take the damn fender off shve the fender mounts and ride it..Here is a picture of my bike with out it...
