Picked this up a few months ago before shoulder surgery. Been a few years and wives since I've had one. Couldn't pass up the deal. Bought it stock and have been playing around with it a bit. About to move the forward controls up 3"
It's funny. I was actually thinking about a set of bars like that or just drags with the stock risers. How do you like the bars you have on there now?
I have about the same bars and really like them. You don't get as much view from the mirrors. Something I'm having to get use to coming from touring bikes.
Nice bike Asasco. I just picked up a 99 FXSTC and also in the process of changing a few things. There is a "Show me your FXSTs" thread where you should go show off your bike.

I like them. I'm 6'1 and with the Le Pera seat it sets back a bit and makes for a more comfortable position as opposed to the stock buckhorn bars. They are Chubby Wild One bars
There is just something about the timeless look of a Softail Custom. They will have to pry my 07 loose from my cold dead hands. I just installed Buckhorns on to give it an even more retro look.
