Just installed these on my rocker. They are super bright.
I did not install the load equalizer and I'm not getting any hyper flash. I thought even rocker guys we're running load equalizers for these installs.
The only thing I noticed is that the turn signals now seem to self cancel a lot sooner than they did before. Does this have anything to do with me not running the load equalizer ?
Looks good - like how you have your bike mounted on a wall...
JK, as far as load equalizer IRT flash/signal cancel...guessing it does affect the signal(s) on your Softail as the voltage differs a bit. If you're OK w/it...not gonna hurt anything. Did you do the initial flash set-up w/the new LED signals (guessing yes)?
Iceman wish I could hang that sucker on the wall would allow me enough room to get another one lol.
Anyhow, no I didn't do any flash set up. I was under the impression that only the bikes with the new canbus system needed that. I just plugged them in and away I went.
What's involved with that initial set up? Just running the hazards for an extended oeriod of time ?
Got the fatbob bucket with the Daymakers installed. I don't have a high beam capability with these auxiliary Daymakers but trust me you don't need a high beam. These are super bright.
I wired the headlights to the low beam wire so now when I hit the high beam they just shut off. Gonna use this feature when I start the bike to keep the Daymakers off while the bike is turning over. Plus ut looks pretty bad *** during the day with only the dynamic rings on.
