Default 2007 Heritage Belt

I have a 07 Heritage with 104,500 miles, i snapped my belt while popping a sweet wheelie last weekend and i have determined that it is a 1" 133 tooth belt. I have a new 1" 131 tooth belt on hand and if you measure the distance that 2 teeth take up it is 1 inch, so if my thinking is straight here then i should only lose 1/2 inch of belt length total when i mount it to the bike. i need some opinions on if I will have enough room or not, thanks.

If you measure the amount of room on your rear tire now, is there over 1/2" clearance right now?

I have exactly one inch of forward adjustment to go, but is my thinking correct about only needing 1/2 inch to compensate for 2 less teeth? thanks

good question, I think you are correct 1/2 inch wheel/axle movement.
upper and lower 1/2 = one inch overall belt length

your old belt had already stretched.. How much ????... if its an 1'' and your new belt wont be (stretched), you could be tight for a while as those two together would be an inch in adjustment..
