Be careful. If they're too high, they can be illegal in some states. I'm quite happy with mine though.

I'd like to get some for my bike. But there are a few things putting me off:

1) The worry that, although the ride will be more comfortable for my arms, that I'll be even more of a sail riding without a fairing at 70+mph. And worse, rain...
2) The cost involved in getting all the parts required
3) The time involved in putting it all together
4) The conversation with the insurance company when I declare yet another modification

They came and went pretty quickly, so it amuses me somewhat that some of these styling influences are still embraced by a few motorcyclists.

Yup, I had one of these bicycles, and had two or three motorcycles with apes in the early 70s. Been there, done that.

What if you like that bicycle image though. In my opinion that is a cool bike.
