I found an ad on Craigslist for some touring tins for 97-08. Anybody know if these tins and hard bags would fit on an 08 Deluxe. Would I have to modify tins for a touring bike to fit a Softail?

The short answer is no. The front fender brackets are a different height...the rear fender would require major mods to work...you can get brackets to make the bags work...not sure about the tank, but I would think it would be more trouble than it is worth.
