I talked to him also. He isn't building them any more. To much of a pain getting the chrome cover, so he said the hell with it.
Would/ could he consider getting back in for a group buy? Really I don't understand the problem getting covers from the same source everytime..whatever
There was another company that made them also. Customized Cycles. Where they mounted them was out of sight you didn't see aything, so I would say that was the way to go. But they aren't making them any more either.
Well for 1200+ per unit, plus installation, seems like he could whip up one.. idk..maybe I'll call him..
Some time back, I remr a throttle lock that released upon braking but I don't remr the product or company..
So, turns out that sometimes if you're willing to find and collect all the components, it's possible to get what you want..
Mine is hd parts, chrome housings with black buttons..module tucked behind transmission..
Will be ready in couple weeks
Are you installing it or did you manage to find someone who is putting them together. Inquiring minds want to know Do you mind filling us in when it is done, or when you get some time. Thanks.
not sure if it has been mentioned but there is a company that makes a really cool throttle lock (cruise control) called brakeaway. works with 1" bars so i'm out. really neat idea.
The installation is outta my lane..
I found all components exactly to my liking even chrome housings and black buttons, and someone to mod everything..
I already have someone to install..the module is stealth and not behind some clunky cover or in my saddlebags..
Should be done in three weeks or so..
Brake away might be fine but just not the same thing
Btw, the total cost is so high, it would be douchey to say or write..
