Clutch issue 2008 crossbones
Started the bike and put the bike in first getting ready to leave for work, did its normal clunk. Went to engage the clutch, roll throttle and ride off. No movement, no grab from the clutch. Tried cycling thru the gears, checking for engagement.... Nothing. Clutch lever feels the same. No unusual sounds from the engine or anything like that, any possible ideas on what it could be and looking for advice on how to troubleshoot. Appreciate the help.
So it won't grab in any gear? My first guess would be the transmission belt pulley splines are stripped. Clutch splines,maybe. Did you check the rear belt to make sure it's not broke.Put the bike in gear and see if you can roll it forward if there is no resistance something is stripped.
Thanks for the reply. So the bike is in gear and yes I get no resistance. Rolls like it would in neutral. Have not checked the belt as of yet. Guessing it might be time to break open the piggy bank and prepare for the worst.

Yep. see if you can figure out why it broke , at least you were Home.
