hell yeah the red switch cover is a good idea. nice clean job with the bracket.
Cheers gnarly! I thought every possible location, and I came to the conclusion this was the best it was going to get in terms of easy to use, best visibility for the indicator lights while keeping it low key. Here's a side pic of how it blends in
Here's a pic on its own. On the right side under the indicator mounting point a rolled it into the back bone to neatly take the wiring harness for the EFI through it, instead of around the outside
Buy me a cruise ticket over and back and I'll wire it up for you. I like doing wiring myself.
Haha man if I could fly you here to do the wiring, I would of kept those plane tickets for myself to go over there for sturges lol. I might go look at plugs and wiring I need today, get this over and done with. I just blew this week off work, so better make the most of it
On another note, been ****ing around with the indicators a bit more changing **** over the black hardware, and trying to work out what to do with the now visible mess behind where the splash gaurd use to be.
Also finished the plate and brake light side mount off. Can't take the credit on this one, a good buddy of mine knocked it up for me while I was using his workshop to make some other stuff.
Hahaha Alain I'd have no misses if I did that! Monday to Wednesday are days in court so no work on those days. I'm planning to get this wiring sorted though. I've got my planned week off the following week though so I actually stil have another two weeks to put a large dint in this
Another thing about the switch mount, I angled the left side down so the missile switch. When it's shut off it sits parralel with the back bone and once the tank is on it will sit flush with the tank tag
Oh my god dude !!!! That picture is hilarious because whenever I think about doing any wiring on my sled that picture is exactly what I think the final outcome is going to be.
Alain thats what I call a nightmare lol. The LED speedo and indicator lamp wires are like strands of hair
Thank you Rockerz! Will do. Pretty busy with life until next Thursday. The new miniature surprise should arrive from Germany by then, I'm pretty pumped to get this mod done, you guys will have to wait and see
