I absolutely love the way it looks like a car tire and not a motorcycle tire.
Same here, it's got that old tread feel.
Well I had a go at trimming the seat, got the foam on and shaped nicely, but I'm not happy with the vinyls wrap job I've done.
This was a first for me, I've never done upholstery before.
Going to redo the vinyl
This was it at the foam stage, I put a ridge down the center and shaped the edges
Ink, take a wad'o clay and sit on it. This way you know how that area where the sun dont shine looks like LOL and brother... You wouldn't be compensating any there with the extra long tip? LOL. JK Ink
I've always thought about adding an extension my self. So who am I to judge? Though... You should adopt some sought of a signature to your builds. And one that fits your image, so here's somthn to inspire you

Lol I was more or less just trying to follow the line off the tank with that ridge. Would love to send it off to some one like Sporot Leather for a custom press design, but one it'd be like $1000 AUD by the time I got it back and I don't think it'd suit this build that much for that money. I think something simple for this one
And yeah that why it's extra long, well that's what I tell everyone lol
i may have missed when i was reading the whole thread in the past (and couldn't find anything on a quick thread search), but did you have to change the rear brake rotor size and caliper?
caught a deal on the wheel and tire and slowing working through the (bottomless money pit) shopping list, on one site it said i'd need a 10" rotor and more compact after market caliper because of the smaller wheel diameter and width. if you had to do this, could you give an idea of what caliper to look for? thanks.
scratch that. got ahead of myself and finally figured ask the actual company i hope to get the kit from. they say the stock brakes will fit fine.
Sorry man I just saw this. Yep as you already know know, they will fit, there's a quite bit of room. A 13" rotor might be a bit tight, but depending on the caliper, that would even be a possible fit
