Love the lamp you have with bars that have some lift
But IMO, if you gonna lower the bars below the tank. I think you gonna want to progress some lift up front

I must be the only one with no life still working in the shed ok Christmas Eve (don't think it's Christmas Eve over there yet?) and most likely will be doing the same on Christmas Day? Oh well keeps me busy. Merry Christmas to you all.

Bit more on the bars. Lifted them up a touch and gave them a bit more pullback, and cut 3/4" off either end, still think I need to take another inch at least or more off. But overall they're coming along nicely. Surprising, they look really uncomfortable, but with that seat sinking you deep into the bike, and inline springer bringining them in close, they're actually really comfortable for me. You lean forward a little, but not strectched. This tank really goes with the lines from every angle, really happy with how it's coming together. Still need to shorten the length, add internal throttle and I'm going to flush mount the mini warning indicator lights into the bars. Drill the bars and the all they need is the welding finished off, clean up and powder coat

Love the clean look

Thanks fellas. I think they're done. Pull back is at max with only having a few mm from the tank at full lock either way. If I lift them up higher I have to reduce the pull back because of how the tank tappers with height, so I think they're about as good as I'll get them at that point. I'm just wondering wether to lower them down the clamp more, which would allow a little more pullback and to lift them a bit more too. Think I've already spent about 10 hours in the last two days starring at it while making slight adjustments, and 10hrs is no word of a lie. I honestly spend more time starring mad thinking about **** then actually hands on work, it's the most important part of the process

I have the Cole tank with sporty pump. works fine no problems. great tank to give your bike narrow look. You will have to stop a little more often for gas!lol. Looking forward to the build.

Hey djgdot yeah the Cole Foster didn't go far on a tank. Though stock it's useless with the cap with the permantly open breather both in and out. As you would know when you try fill it up too much it overflows out the cap, hell its one of the only tanks that doesn't even come with an overflow line built in. Beautiful tank, just poor design. Needs a vent/overflow line and a one way valve cap like what we did with it so you can actually fill it as well as not have all the good stuff evaporate if it sits for a week or more.

3rd year splattt? So it is, wow times flown
