What did you do with your stock tank console and speedometer?
I bought a 2004 Softail Night Train today and the odometer lens is yellowed and cracked. I'm assuming the dealer pulled the mileage off the computer because I can't read it.
My aim is a "mild bob". Initially starting with solo seat of some style, new handlebars, and some mild tweaks.
If you still have the original console and speedometer and are interested in selling please let me know.

Hey Larry I still have it all if you're interested. The shipping to the US might be a kill it being worth while for you though. The console looks like it was painted over at some point and needs the paint stripped and a better job done. Speedo itself is in good nic though

What do you want for the set and any idea of shipping to Lutz, FL.
I remember shipping a 5lb item to Australia about 10 years ago. And cost over $40. Plus tax and other import fees. Probably a way around the duty fee if you know how to see fine the item
The Cycle Electric regulator for the Softails looks a bit different than stock as well.
The way it looks might affect your decision one-way or the other.
So here's what it looks like on my Slim.
hope this helps,
T.
I know this is from an old post but I'm hoping you're still active here. What is the break arm on you bike?
It'll be in Kilometers too not miles. Can't remember if you can change that? Hellbilly sent me headlight from where ever he is over there and that was $50 US shipping. So I would assume around that price give or take some depending which state you are in. That's only a guess though. I'll sell you the speedo and console together for $60 USD
Ink I just wanted to tell you all the changes you've made lately have made your bike uglier than it was before and to help you reach 900 posts with this thread. Oh yeah Happy New Year my brother from down under keep up the good work!!!!!

Very generous offer. Thank you. But I realized I'd probably have the KPH vs MPH issue shortly after I began my exchange with you. I will need to keep digging instead.
