Thanks Stal94GT... I am looking for a short tin that shows the tire. Not sure what but wanted to find some sites to look at. Any ideas where to start looking?
it also depends how you want to mount the fender, if you want a strut mounted fender roland sands makes the tracker and heartland has a lot of fender options
you can also do a swing arm mounted fender as well. either way you will have to do a new seat.
Keep in mind if you go for a short rear fender to get the required look, ( not a dirt bike look ) you'll need to drop the suspension by 2" which means you'll have very little left, which is the reason I didn't go this route, unless you're willing to fork out for an air ride which then makes the whole process very expensive.
alot of people like the strut mounted fenders cause they can run a standard seat vs the swing arm mounted fenders and a spring seat. i went with a lucky sucker swing arm mounted fender which i like the spring seat look, but it is not for everyone. the roland sands tracker fender is a low cost strut mounted fender. you can get cheaper fenders where they are strutless and mount in the same strut mounts. i have seen a lot of cool builds both ways.
this is the lucky sucker fender with a sping seat. it is alittle bit of a pain in the *** and really not alot of cost savings but this will get you an idea of how they look

This bike belongs to a forum member, he just did a real good job of cutting the existing fender in half, which is probably the cheapest option, thing is do you feel lucky with a saw.
