I put one of these on my '09 RKC rear brake a couple of years ago. The problem I had was that compared to my other bikes, the RKC would lock up the rear brake under less than desirable conditions and with what I felt was too little pressure. The purpose of the device is to keep the rear wheel from locking up as it absorbs that first jolt from the brake pedal. I can still lock the wheel if I press a little harder with no loss of pedal feel. I use my rear brake while riding stopping, slow speed, trail braking and at stop lights so I like the feel of the pedal now.
I like knowing where the locking point of my breaks are. But as God as my witness, I have yet to accomplish this on my Slim. Bikes yoo damn heavy for wht HD put on it.

ABS is the one thing i wish my bike had. Truth be told, the single puck front caliper on the bones flat out sucks...and yes, I've locked the rear a couple times when unexpected stuff happens.
I half expected the usual "learn how to brake" comments from the internet "experts". While i'm good at braking, the ability to control wheel lock is pretty important, especially when some dillhole pulls out in front of you unexpectedly...
