Been away from the forum for some time. ( Sold Rocker C and Defected to Ducati) But now I'm back I have a 2015 Breakout on order and have decided on a number of accessories. My question in particular is on Brake Discs (or Rotors) Here in the UK the average price of a Disc is around Ł180.00 to Ł220.00 including sales tax (VAT). You can imagine how shocked I was to get a quote from my dealer for Part Number 41500056 and 41500054 for Ł396.32 Each and that was with 10% Discount.
I have trawled the net and have prices from other dealers (Which were even more expensive Ł440.35 each) even in the US they are appearing for $500+, so here is the nub of the question, WHY are these particular discs so expensive?? What makes them so special?? Anyone!! I would be more than happy to pay such a price if I knew I was getting something more for what appears to be over double the price for an average disc? All answers and comment welcome.

Kutterharleyonline - 41500056: US$309, 41500054: US$309. I don't know if they will ship to your location.
Also, J&P Cycles has loads of rotors, pads, and calipers for the 2015 FXSB.
