Default Breakout bump stop cut?

I'm thinking of cutting my bump stop or buying a smaller bump stop so I can drop my bike 10 to 15mm more with my SS, it more just for weekend shows.

What would be the possible problems if I were to do this?

The tire hitting the fender is all I can think of. If you make the bump stop smaller, maybe you could make a screw-on extension to use when you ride, to prevent the tire from hitting the fender over large bumps.

Or just buy a spare, cut that one down and swap them out as you like. They can't be that expensive...

Yep they're cheap. I cut mine in half on my train a year ago, no problems at all. I think you'll find it'll only give you a 5-10mm drop though
