Default Coil and horn relocation today

Did a coil and horn relocation today using DK customs kit and Screamin Eagle wires. Really cleans up the left side and allowed me to take out the fake seat post/coil mount strut and now you can see the whole oil bag and trans top cover unobstructed. Pretty slick!

Where did you mount the horn? Factory horn or aftermarket?

It’s aftermarket, and I included it as option in the kit from DK. It’s quite loud

Cool! Did you have to remove the tank? How hard was removal of the fake seat post?

No, I did take it loose from the back and tilt it up enough to run the wires in the tunnel. My tank is lifted, so that could’ve made it easier. The seat post came out pretty easily, just had to take the ground straps loose so there was room enough to lift it and tilt it out of there. Really happy with the bang for the buck. I ordered the kit with the plug and play harness, so it was a piece of cake. Just took a little extra time to make sure everything was tucked and run and tied-in nicely. Spent maybe 45 minutes doing it all.

Cool, thanks. Looks good, actually your bike looks wicked in general. Really like the pipes.

Love it! But I agree with HotRod, this is giving me more ways to spend money than money I have to spend! That said, I'll be adding this to my "to do" list. Thanks Otter
