Gettin ready for paint
Well boys, with the clip ons finally finished, fenders finished and new fat Bob headlight done. It's time for paint.
Here's how she sits till I make up my mind on how light or dark to go with the silver color for the tins.

For a while I considered a Cole Foster gas tank from the big sucker kit. The one that comes up high in the front.
Talked myself out of it for now., might be next winter's project. I gotta stop adding **** if I wanna be ready to ride when the spring time hits lol.
Now I gotta keep searching for the right shade of silver.

Thanks men.
Echo6 the trees are HHI wide glide 4 degree trees. Everything else is stock.
The color I'm thinking off is gonna be something close to the silver on the left in the picture I attached.
While I got the oil tank off I'm gonna replace the tranny top cover which is chrom right now.

Here's a quick update for you guys. In case someone is subscribed to this thing. Still waiting on the fenders. But picked up all the other parts (gas and oil tanks, dash and front spoiler)
Dash came out great too.
Really happy with the color I went with. It's called chrome silver and it's what Nissan uses on the GTR.
Looks awesome in person.

That dash looks like black glass. Those colors are going to look great on the blue frame. Better hurry up and get er done , riding season is almost upon us.

I known knees! The dash looks better painted than when it was powder coated. I'm starting to realize powdercoat is not as rich as paint.
As long as I don't run into any snags I should have all these parts installed by the weekend.
