Wet / muddy shirts after a rain suck. Leave it on.

To each his own I guess, but I just don't get the fenderless look (front or rear). The tins give the bike its character and make it look complete especially the fenders IMHO. Not to mention they keep bike and rider a little dryer and cleaner on those days when the roads are wet.

+1 on the Permanant Waves poster.
I disagree on the bike, I like the new look,. Still be careful when and where you ride it. Road debris and rain will not be your friend. Even a shorter fender will keep you safe from that stuff flying back at you.
I totally agree on the Permanent Waves poster. I missed it and had to go back through the pictures to find it. Love the band and that album. Has to be a very old poster that you have kept In great shape.

I remember a buddy who liked the fenderless look for one 200 mile trip. We got caught in the rain and I had to laugh cause he was hanging off the side trying to avoid some of the rooster tail. It didn't work! Next we drove out of the rain and into a section of freshly chipped road. Yup, he was hanging off the side trying to avoid fresh chips and road oil. He was a mess by the time we got home but sure was good entertainment for me and reinforced why I like my fenders. I'm actually looking for a Heritage style rear fender for my Crossbones that will cover the 200 tire. Get lots of rain on the coast of Ak and that abbreviated rear fender slings rain up my back and runs down onto the seat and I end up with soggy *****.

1 of the very few fender less bikes Iv seen that I like. I would like to see it without the front fender too! Food for thought, a buddy of mine and I traded bikes for a bit on a long ride. We then hit a down pour and the rooster tail off of the rear tire felt like a chain saw against my back. The MAIN thing Dude is what do you think about it? If you like it that's all that really matters but I would have no problem having that bike parked out in my garage. Sometimes, LESS in MORE! If it were in my garage though I could see dropping 5K in chrome right off the bat but that's just because I am an admitted chrome *****!

EDIT: I'm not to sure I wouldn't throw a set of WWW's on it too! But again, that's just me. I have a nephew who has a springer but not sure what year it is. He needed tires and I talking him into trying a set of the WWW and he loved it!

looks different that's for sure.
I'd just be concerned about the constant spray of dirt and debris up my back...

Looks good. Is this a rider or a show bike?
Plenty of others have already mentioned how fenderless doesn't work very well for a rider.
