Bought my first Harley in 2013, it is a 13 Heritage classic and loving it! Anyways last year I added a SE heavy breather and power vision tuner, this spring i will be going with a complete exhuast and new cams. I really would like to go with Samson cholos 36in, I have heard them and seen them, BUT,,, I also been reading about Samson's quality and service not being there as of lately,Like waiting forever to recieve parts, their pipes being thin a cracking? I guess it's just making me a little hesitant. So I'm trying to get feed back from other riders that have recently dealt with Samson and their parts, guess I'm looking and hoping to hear some positve recent experiences. Also if I decide to go with Samson, where might I get the best price for the full exhuast? If I decide against Samson , my 2nd and only other choice will be V&H Bigshots long. Thanks for any help.
I just picked up a set of 36" cholos for my deluxe. Ordered them on Jan 13th, got them in 9 days. Placed my order direct with Samson, and mentioned that I was an HDForums member and received the 10% ($99.00) discount. Also ordered them with the crush gaskets and removable tips/baffles. Quality is great (as it was on my last set of 33" cholos as well).
Started it up for the first time a couple weeks ago - running a Kuryakyn Velociraptor, Superchips Vigilante EZ, and the 36" non baffled cholos. Here is a link to the video I posted:

Without your rear tires and fender on, those 36" Cholo's look like 72". lol
Video doesn't do it justice - not nearly. I'm still waiting on my wheels (I think they are shipping this week), and I'm still waiting on my fender and bags to come back from paint - that's the trouble with paying a buddy cash to do something - the money making customers come first. Not all bad though... It was -37*F when I woke up this morning and the temp now is about -10. I've got a ways to go I think before the bike is even going to be rolled out of the garage and into the sunlight.
As soon as I do though, you can bet there will be much more videos to come with photos.
OP... Did you order those Samson's yet or what? Why not?! Lol!
Kizzletruck, nice sound but I think mine sound better, LOL. This is a small sound clip that I shot of mine with my cell phone. They are 39" non baffled.

Which wheels are you going with?
That is some serious cold!! I'm glad I don't live in Minnesota anymore, yikes! I think I'm getting soft with the Kansas winters. lol

I'm pretty sure Samson is almost completely back on track with their production. I got mine from them before their move, but if I were to need some now, I would go ahead and order from them again.
The first bike in this vid is the Softail with Samson. I removed the baffles and used TTI W158's and could not be more happy with the sound or performance.

Your bike sounds good, man! Hey, I was wondering.. I just got my Softbrake and license relocate in the mail.. The instructions don't specify if the bracket goes between the gasket and tail light housing, or between the gasket and fender. I'm worried that I will cause paint damage should I install it between the gasket and fender (but this is where to me, logically it would go)... Any input?

Yeah, it's cold here. They are saying that this year the great lakes are going to be even more ice-covered than last year - and on Superior we still had ice floating in on July 11th.
My wheels will be a 16/21 x 3.5 DNA Mammoth spokes. Black hubs/rims with stainless spokes. Wide white's... Can't wait to get it back on the ground.
