Did you lower your front end after going with the 21" wheel?

Did you lower your front end any after going with the 21" wheel or is it still stock?

I was talking with the owner of a local bike shop that installed a 21"x3.5" front tire & wheel on a buddies Softail Deluxe and he told me that some of the Deluxes end up with a high speed wobble for some unknown reason which then requires looking into bearing, swingarm, or putting a swingarm stabilizer.
A high speed wobble sounds dangerious and expensive to trouble shoot.
Have any of you guys with 21" setups on the front of your Deluxes encountered this issue or any other issues from the larger wheel & tire?

Just put my 21" x 3.5 Sinister Rim on last week. Still waiting on the rear rim, so for now its the stock 16 x 3.5" . The bike is also lowered 2" front and rear. Have done several rides totaling 500 miles over the past week. Good chunk was freeway, posted speed limit is 75 in MT. we may have been pushing it, at times 15 over.......with all that said, the wheel set up is freaking money, not a twitch, shake, rattle or roll.....if anything having the narrower tire has made the bike much more responsive in the front end.

Thanks for the feedback, I am going with a DNA 60 spoke, which I should have stated.
Nice looking bike.

DNA may be the issue! they have been known for some oddball issues...be careful! that may be the problem. I wont use one nor will any dealers up here sell one. I would use Ridewright or Sinister for spokes.

I haven't heard of any problems nor have I experienced it. I did just lower the front of mine a inch and half but haven't really ridden it too much since doing it; flu and all.
