I'm not the best photographer and my backyard is a shitty place for taking pics cause I feel like the back dropsin my shots are not the best lol. But here it is for those of you that stuck with me through this trip into the clip on world.

I don't know how I feel about it yet. For some reason I feel like it's missing something. Maybe it's because at a quick glance it looks like the bike is missing handle bars lolol.
I need to do something with that seat next winter. I'm thinking some silver or white diamond stitching. And exile's open primary is still in my mind.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think.

I kept the speedometer really tight to the frame under the tank. Barely noticeable

I feel like the plastic pieces that are attached to the frame rails right under the exhaust need to be painted silver as well. Those plastic pieces are part of that HD front spoiler kit. You boys agree ?

Instagram made me crop some of these pics so I couldn't get full shots like I wanted.

When I actually go for a ride I plan on taking much better shots.

Enjoy !!!!!

I like it dude .......looks great ! the clip ons are badass ....the dual headlights are trick...the paint is sick ! the cvo wheels are actually real cool ....the console , flush mount caps along with the bar end mirrors all flow with the low sleek look .....for some reason that air cleaner is too plain jane for the overall vibe of the bike ......other than that the bike is killer . congrats on the job well done !

That is a crazy dramatic transformation from your signature pic! The color scheme looks cool and is very unique. I love the fenders! That really makes me want a custom rear, especially to make the bike more personalized since I have a "stock custom" as my base. Personally, I liked the looks of the apes in your signature better, but that's all just a matter of preference and desired feel/positioning. I think the lower piece color could go either way depending on your leaning. I think I like it better in blue to blend with the frame, but I'm not much of a visual person.

Edit: To be honest, the more I'm looking at the pics from different angles, the more the bars are growing on me. I still prefer the silhouette with the apes, but the front and diagonal angles look sick with the clip ons. I'm a bad judge until I've had time to digest as my perspective often changes with time to adjust.

I dig what you're saying about the air cleaner. Looking at it I actually agree with you, the cam cover totally overpowers it. I would have loved to have gone with something contrast cut from RSD but I just couldn't get myself to drop $400 plus on just an air cleaner. I'd rather wait and throw that money at the mids/open primary set up. Luckily I can replace that cover on this air cleaner with something a little more eye catching.

Thanks for the props professor and thanks for talking me through that front fender job brah.

Dramatic transformation is a great way to describe it. I know what you meant when you said at first that you liked the apes better. And I think that's why at times when I look at it now I feel like it looks weird, cause I'm so acustomed to seeing it with apes on.

I'm definitely going to paint that bottom frame piece silver, I feel like by doing that it will draw your eye more to the bottom of the frame and the front spoiler. Right now the front spoiler is barely noticeable from the side shot cause it's blocked by the foot controls.

I'm still getting used to looking at it this way, just like you, my perspective is slow to adjust to new things lolol.

Very Nice! I agree the handlebars look nonexistent. I think its just the color though, I believe chrome would look better with silver.

Alain, I've been following your thread for quite a while and I really like the direction it's been going. For starters, I'd give yourself a week or two to get used to looking at it before making any drastic changes. Certain aspects will grow on you especially since your mind is used to seeing it in a different way.

I like the clip ons just they way you have them. Any bike will get a 360 view when people check it out and the bars won't get lost. I think the spoiler looks just fine in silver and doesn't get lost to my eyes. I'm afraid if you paint the plastic pieces of the spoiler that surround the lower frame then the look is going to get cut off. In other words, your blue frame at this point kind of creates a circular affect around your engine. If the bottom plastic parts get painted silver then it's going to look like it has no "bottom".

If it were my bike I think I'd add some blue pin striping on the tank and fenders to compliment the blue of the frame. I think it would tie it all together. I would raise the front of the tank 2 to 2 1/2 inches to line it up with your seat (as long as it doesn't interfere with the bars, or add risers to them to compensate). I'd think about an open primary to continue the badassery that is going on so far. I'd add a blanket roll under the headlights just for decoration. That will make it look like a bike that James Dean would ride!

I agree the air cleaner doesn't quite work at this point. If you painted the air cleaner the same pacific blue as the frame and then the star the same silver as your tins, that would make the air cleaner pop. I'd cover the rear axle nut with covers that have integral blinkers. That would clean up the back fender. (This is simply because I can't stand the rear blinkers on the Rocker and plan to do that to my bike when I can afford it.

Okay, that is just my two cents worth to give another perspective. Any way you choose it's going to be a unique fresh look at the Rocker and I'm diggin' it!

Also, I believe you once said that blue was the fastest color. So, does that mean your Rocker is half as fast as mine now?
