Dropped tins off for paint
Never mind the question on the other thread regarding your paint scheme, 3 colours work very nice. Great to see the end results of full makeovers, well done.
How are you liking the low feel of the clip ons? I was tossing up using low drag bars on mine, but with the low and back further seating position I have would bend me too much like an ironing board, I wouldn't last on the rough roads around here. Looks the part though
I've only ridden it twice with the clip ons and the bike does handle differently. I don't have as much leverage on the front end do the front end feels heavier. Not the end of the world though, all I got to do is lean it and she turns like butter. I got the rake back to stock with the HHI trees and these CVO wheels are cast which makes them super light so that makes it much easier to steer.
And you're not allowed to switch they setup you are going with !! Looks **** in the direction you're headed Lolol. Stop going to work and finish the damn thing dude !!!! Lolol.
I'm out for the first real test drive. The new riding position is gonna take a bit getting used to. First ride is not really enjoyable so far....... I'm constantly adjusting trying to find a good stance.
Ill tell you this much though, it's not the most comfortable for sure but it's defintely rideable and comfortable enough to enjoy it. Once I put the mid controls on it it's gonna be A LOT more comfortable. Bringing my feet more under me will take off a lot of the flex off my lower back while ridding it.
You should see some of the double takes people have given me lololol, especially when they first see me from behind. I think it's because when I hook my feet on the passenger pegs it looks like I'm ridding a sports bike. But when they pull up next to me they see the motor, exhaust and frame and realize it's a Harley.
Seen a couple of dudes behind me holding up their cell phones trying to take pics. Lolol.
Ya'll heard the expression "the price of looking cool ain't cheap". Well I'm gonna modify that expression a bit...... "The price of looking cool ain't cheap nor comfortable " but it sure is worth it lololol.
I'll be sticking to my plan, I've had this planned since last year and I've stuck to it. Hopefully a couple more months it'll be finished
