94 softail 89ci shifting question
I have been shifting at about 3500 rpm in most gears, and at 70 miles an hour she rpm's at about 4,000 could i ride at 35 -40 in 4th or 5th gear to get these are rpm's down ?

4th at 35 - 40 mph should work OK as long as you aren't on a steep hill, weigh 500 lb or something. 5th is OK above 45. Of course, it isn't going to pull very well, so you should expect to downshift if you need to accelerate.
