I swapped to Kuryakyn strut mounted Bullets as I'm running a stretched fender. I would like to know if and how is it possible to run them as running/stop/signals? They each have 3 wires coming out. I bought a Custom Dynamics module, thinking that was what I needed (the strobe function one). I can only wore it up to stop/signal function or just running. I'm also running front Alloy Art LEDs (the low profil fork tin signals). I would like to somehow wire those to running/signal function if possible. Any ideas? Thanks guys !
Are you also running a load equalizer / stabilizer with the CD Triple Play? According to their website one is required. I haven't tried wiring mine up without the stabilzer, so no first hand knowledge of what the results are...
I have one but haven't wired it. I cut the stocke pigtail off the old tail so I wouldn't have to cut the SmartPlay module. I am confused because there are only 3 wires. Running, signal, ground for each light. I can't figure out how to wire not the running and brake. I can only get one or the other. I guess I'm doing something wrong....not a first lol.
You need a run/brake turn module from Custom Dynamics from what I've read others say. Your third wire is a ground. And I think your run/turn lights might come through your tail light
I'm running those lights and they each have a running, signal and ground wire. The custom dynamics Smart Play module says it does what the running light module does plus strobe feature.

Disclaimer: I'm just guessing here - don't really know - NOT a pro.
I'm not quite sure what you're saying - but I think you need to wire the new bullets to the bike as turns only (turn signal switched hot wire on the harness to the high output hot on the bullets). The CD unit is designed to convert existing single intensity turn only lights into run/brake/turn. According to the Custom Dynamics site, it doesn't work if you already have the turns wired up as run lights.
Going to take a stab - NOT A PRO EITHER- Doesn't it have something to do with the filaments in the lights? If it is a single filament bulb, it can either be used as brake or run/turn. Since the turn function will over ride the brake (shine brighter). I believe you need some type of module that converts the single filament light to a dual filament in order to have run/brake/turn.
