Both the seat and apes look great. If you like them and are happy about your mods forget about anyone else's bashing.Personally i like apes and think they are more comfortable than the stock bars, better manueverability and handling.MY .02
Seat looks great! I'm also looking for a solo seat for my 07 Fatboy. I was going to get the HD Brawler but they don't have one for 2007 models yet. How long did it take to get one you ordered?
Thanks for the feedback.
They do offer a pillion for the solo seat.
C & C Seats is in Southern CA. For me it was about a 45 minute drive to the factory. I bought the seat from them right there at the factory. I wanted to go with Vinyl but they didn't have one in stock sothey sold me the leatherversion for $200 cash. I havn't ridden a lot of a miles with the new seat so I'm not sure how the leather is going to wear.
I have that solo. I luv it. I also have thier Sport Tour 2up seat. I didn't like the pillion pad for the solo and the way it looked so I just bought the sport tour. Both seats cost me what others pay for just one seat. So far I have no complaints about the seats.
Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm 5' 9 1/2" and the bars are right at my shoulders. They really aren't that tall or intimidating. I'm probably going to ride to work tomorrow. I'll have a chance to put the seat to the test.
1. what did you use for the single bolt to hold down the new C&C Seat? I see a plugged hole in my FatBoy Fender. but what did you use to mount there?
2. what did you use to plug the two holes left when you remove the OEM factory bolts that held down the stock seat?
3. anyone know what size / thread the passenger seat bolt is so I can get a lower profile chrome or black screw to plug the passenger seat bolt?
