Definitely wouldn't be that hard to make one out of some thin aluminum and a jig saw. I always get my aluminum and various other scrap metals at a local metal recycling place. Those places are half the cost of anywhere else, especially when buying Stainless or Aluminum. Good luck man. If you can't get it figured out let me know. I could/would make you one like the first pic I sent you pretty easily. It was just a pic I pulled up browsing the web.

Have you actually talked to a Harley Parts guy? Harley has to have one because I have one on my bike. It was on there when I bought the bike and the guy I bought it from already had some mods to it and he went all Harley or SE parts. I can't swear to it but if I had to bet I would bet he got it from Harley.

I was looking at these before I ended up going with the Softbrake relocate kit. Pretty sure the HD kit is the same as (and made by) this Kuryakyn kit.

I was going to direct you to www.softbrake.com. They have every KIT/Separate Bracket/Tombstone Assemblies without the bracket holes etc....Just purchased a new tombstone light assembly from them last week. Went to the link today and their website is under construction. If you can wait I would either call them or check their website from time to time. Great product and was in constant contact with order/shipment

Mine is the HD one and seems to be about the same as the kury one. I had it put on at time of purchase, so I am not sure what was involved to get it mounted. I think $80 or so. Sorry about the pic, best I got.

I was going to include this pic when I first posted my response, but at that time you had not talked about the set up I have (Softbrake Tombstone Enclosure without License Plate/Bracket)....plate on swing arm....you will not be disappointed!
