The passing lamps are not H4 bulbs...they take a different bulb.
In about a week we'll have LED bulbs that fit the passing lamps on the website. Below is a picture of the LED headlight, the LED passing light on one side and a new stock HD bulb on the other.
A Vision X type bulb will not be as yellow as the stock bulb, but not as white as the LED...it is about halfway in between. I would go with the LED bulb for the passing lights...not only so they match, but the whiter the light, the better our eyes see the road at night.

So... Kevin, you got DOT approval for this LED replacement?
NO.
The drop-in headlight is Not DOT approved, nor are the soon to be released passing lights.

The best affordable DOT approved headlight we tested is the Vision X, see it at this LINK. It is Not an LED.
We don't consider the daymaker (and variations) as an affordable option for many. They put out great light, and are DOT approved, but they are sealed units and one rock can make a $500 light into a paperweight.

We all get that your the Evolution 2 Fanboy. There are other options out there so let the buyer make their own choice. I run Trucklite on my Jeep, My Semi truck and my bike. All properly adjusted for each vehicle. Never have problems seeing down the road and never get flashed unless I have high beams on. I will do the same for the wife's sportster after I get the Led from DK. Your not changing any one's mind around here.

Yeah, I get that from people that don't like facts.
All I do is inform. The more information people have, the better choice they can make.
I've mentioned Trucklite as one of the better LED headlights, along with JW Speaker and HD (which is essentially a rebadged Speaker). So what's your problem?
Well, I don't believe Trucklite sells a 5" LED headlight at this time, so that must mean that you're going with the "off road only" LED conversion bulb. So much for "proper adjustment".
Damn,... the "all seeing eye"... I've gotta get one of those.
