Swing arm bag
This bag is top quality, strong heavy leather and holds up well...4 years and counting on mine.
I agonized over which bag to buy and looked at all of them several times.
The Viking Bag is probably considered the bottom of the barrel. I mean, what do you expect for $89. It's synthetic leather and isn't all that big. I decided to give it a try since it was so cheap.
The back of the bag is plastic covered in "Viking Leather" (vinyl / syn leather). This is actually a good thing since I was going to hard mount it to the bike. I traced the bag on a piece of cardboard for a template and was able to position it on the bike so that I could use the 3 bolts from the belt guard to mount it. I then used the template and marked the holes on the bag and just drilled the back of the bag. I used different length 5/16" bolts and 3 plastic spacers to mount the bag to the bike.
Honestly, once the bag is on the bike it looks like all of the others. I'll use it until it no longer fits my needs and replace it with something better and US made. For now, it works.
