I need some help
My Fellow Riders,
Currently I'm serving in the Corps and Myself, my wife and our "Stinky Dog" have orders to Okinawa for 36 months. My Heritage can not make the trip due to DMO and Marine Corps weight limits. So my Son will be staying back in NC with my Iron Horse. What would be the best way to store my 2010 Heritage Classic. If you have some good advice please help a brother out.
Thanks and Semper Fi!!

Have no idea how long you're going to be deployed but pull the battery, full tank of fuel with 1/2 of Sea Foam can added at fuel up. By the time you get it stored the fuel mixture will be in the lines.
Be strong and stay safe, lil brother.

You didn't state what year, or if your bike is Carb'ed or EFI so I'll make some assumptions. Storing a bike for 3 years is different than putting it up for the winter.
-Topping off with fuel prevents moisture from entering the tank. I would Not however leave fuel in a bike for 3 years. Drain every drop from the system. If your tank has a good liner, rust should not be a problem.
-Pull the battery and give it to a shipmate to use.
-Change the fluids; Engine, Primary, and Tranny.
-Through the sparkplug holes, squirt some lubricant into the cylinders. Fogging Oil is made for this if you can find it. If not, just use engine oil.
-If possible, store the bike on blocks to get the tires off the ground.
-Remove any leather and store indoors to prevent mold.
-Get 4 or 5 cans of WD40 and cover every inch of the bike.

IMO, our Tampa friend meant to say 1/2 OZ of Seafoam per gallon of gas and run the bike a few minutes to get the foam in the system. Btw, a Tender won't hurt. JMO
