After 31,000 miles finally got scares enough to check cam chain tensioners. Virtually no wear. On phone so can't post pics. Only checked outside one. Didn't want to go any deeper than necessary. I was told the inside wears more than outside bit only a thousandth or less of wear on outside.
I'd run em. Just ck the back one though. As long as they look ok, no sense in tearing out the rockers and cam plate. Just check em in another 10,000 or so.

Here's a good description with pics on how to check the rear tensioner with a dental mirror by using a screwdriver and allen to hold the rear tensioner back from the chain without removing the pushrods, etc.
People who say just replace then while your in there have no idea of what they are talking about, taking the cam cover off is not even a fraction of the work.
