I just bought a 2006 Springer classic CARB model. It has has 22k and samson true duals and a k&n air filter.
Heres the problem: During hard acceleration the bike has a flat spot or hesitation. It is just off idle and it only occurs with a quick twist of the throttle.
What I've done. I checked the plugs, they are grey on the tip and quickly become black near the base. Adjusted the air mixture screw from points between 2 turns out to 3.5 turns out. I've swapped the slow jet from the 45 that was in there to a 48. All these things have had no real effect.
Anyone have any ideas? Should I keep barking up the jetting tree or could it be something else? Thanks
