Guys, I was only after some information, not to start WW III.

I would still love to fit cruise control on the new Fatboy as - at least to me ! - it adds a level of comfort I would be happy to pay some money for...

I'd love the info also. I do tour on my Heritage (did 4500 miles in the past month) and because I'm in Florida I do a lot of straight interstate riding. Add Dupuytrens Syndrome in my right hand and bad arthritis for good measure.

I've tried to get in touch by phone but so far no luck (time diff with The Netherlands probably doesn't help here); perhaps you can give it a try !?

I don't understand why HD is not offering a NON-CVO Throttle by Wire Softail to allow simple electronic cruise control.. I mean.. the cheapest Touring bike is the Road King at around 18K .. the most expensive Softail is the Breakout at the same price... so.. is not a matter of the Throttle by Wire technology being prohibitively expensive and impossible to apply to, let's say.. a Softail Slim.. at least HD should offer it as an upgrade.. Hell, I went to the Indian dealer, and the Scout (the entry level bike at $ 11K) comes with Throttle by Wire standard!!!!.. c'mon Harley Davidson !!!!

When you called, did you leave message or email addy or any way for him to get hold of you?

Default cold hands

I would love to have a decent throttle lock or cruise control so I can warm up my throttle hand with the oil tank on cold rides.
The stock throttle lock does not work well with gloves and fingers that aren't moving well.
