Default Pullback risers on my night train?

I just got back last night from a 1,600 mile trip, and halfway into it I had to switch out my drag bars for the HD kit that moved my bars back a bit with some small pullbacks. I like how it looks, but I sure like the look of the deuce risers better.
I asked about that at the dealer I went to and they weren't sure if it could be done, so I just settled for the time being so I could get on the road again.

Anyways- my question is this- does anybody have pullbacks on their night trains? If you do did you have to extend the cables? how long are the risers?

I saved my old bars so I could switch back and forth depending on when I take long *** rides, but if I got a look that I REALLY liked, then I might just leave the pullbacks on.

thanks-
Pat

Pat, I have an 05 Night Train, and can tell you my experience with changing the stock bars. I initially thought a little more pullback would be all I needed, so I ordered and installed the "Deuce" style risers. I did not have to change out any cables or wires, but they did not give me much more pullback than the stock risers, and I did not care for how they looked. I ordered the Wild 1 Chubby Drag Bars and polyurethane bushings. On the right side, I did not have to lengthen anything, but on the left side, the wires were not long enough, so I cut and spliced them. There are several instructions online that detail that process. I had never soldered wires before, and I got it done without much trouble, and it has worked fine since. I was able to run the wires internally on the Chubby bars, and it really looks a lot better. I think the bars follow the line of the bike now, and are much more comfortable than the stock ones. The polyurethane bushings helped eliminate alot of the handlebar vibration. I do not feel hardly any vibration unless I am going over 75. I'll try to get a pic tonight and post it for you. Let me know if I can be of any assistance.

I also swaped my bars for drag spec. buffalo bars1/1/4 internal wiring. 71/2 inch rise with 8 inch pullback. I did the job myself, and didn't have to change any cables or wires. Just take your time and the looks are very rewarding. Not to mention comfort. The hardest part of the job was routing the wires through the bars. They do look sweet!

Thanks for the replies, I would sure like to see a couple of pictures if you guys have em. I went to the dealer last night and asked about those deuce risers and they said they would fit fine but they didn't have any in stock. still not sure what I'll wanna run with, now I wonder how they look after you guys said it wasn't a good fit.
Right now my bars match what is on the softail standard, like I said they are ok, maybe I'll get more adjusted to them and like em more. anyways...thanks for the help fellas. Pics!!

Anyone have some pics of their bars? I'm getting ready to swap mine out and need to see what looks/feels the best.

Do you have the part # of the bars you put on? I am interested in the Buffalo bars, but would like to keep the stock cables & wires.

Any help would be great!
