My wife is wanting me to change the stock bars on her 06 Night Train to something a bit wider and a 1" or 2" on pullback. I see some bars with a 31" width and 4.5 pullback. Does anyone know what the stock pullback is? How about suggestions on what bars others have used to get a bit more pullback. Thanks.
The stock risers on a NT are straight. I put on the 6" pullback risers that HD sells and they helped alot.
I thought of changing risers but she wants something a little wider too. More leverage for turning at a stand still. I know the stock bars themselves have about 4" of pullback in them but not sure.
There are a lot of different T-bars out there with more pullback and width that will fit with stock cables on the Train. Its about the most common mod you see on Night Trains.
I think mine are 7" burly bars. A couple inches wider than stock.

I had an 05 FXST I changed. I am trying to find out what the stock position is considered. I was looking at bars with a 4.5 pullback and wondering if this is more then what stock bars are.
Maybe I'm not explaining right. I know the risers are straight, however the bars bend a bit. they may be considered 4" pullback. I was wondering if anyone bought bars that were closer to you say an inch or two and what the pullback was....4.5,5...ect.
to determine what your pull back is. draw an imaginery line across the handle bars from the edge of the grip to the other and then measure the distance from that line to the center of the riser at the mounting point (tripple trees).. That will give you your pull back.. I hope I explained it right...
Get stock Dyna Wide Glide bars, mine are from the '03 model.......Very comfortable on the NT.
...no risers and can move them forward and back
to get just the right reach...ridden 700 miles in 1 day w/o
any arm/back problems.
