first off im new here, ive been coming on here for information for years now but my question is... im ordering samson true duals 33" no baffle what size jets is everyone running i live in new jersey and do i need to change the needle? is it best to order a jet kit? my friend saids he has all different jets laying around. probably going to run the stock air cleaner with the backing taken off.. also i know theres a carb section on here but it didnt seam like anyone was getting answered

I learned an important lesson which I took time to write up and share here and I will do so again.
Don't try to fix an exhaust reversion problem with fuel tuning. It's like putting your arm in a sling when you break your leg. Doesn't help much, I learned the hard way.
You'll lose about 20 ft lbs of torque from 2000-3500 with open pipes. You'll feel it. That's about 60-80 on the highway.

$1.18 for some thumbscrews at Home Depot make all the difference in the world. My fishtails aren't too loud being open, I get zero complaints from neighbors or anyone. I think the fact they are near the ground helps a lot.
