I was wondering if any body had a Stock linkage i can buy !!! I have the extaned and I'm too short

are you talking about mid controls? softails dont come with mids. have to switch inner and outer primary and some other things for that

no the dealer told me he has a 3 inch extension on it and to remove it and go back to stock it would be $300

If it's like my 06 train, I'm assuming you have the extension plates to move the controls forward. You should be able to remove the plate and bolt the controls back to the stock location. However, you will need the stock linkage and the stock brake line. Not too sure how it will look on the brake side and the line with the longer line.

You could cut 3 inches off of your shifter rod and tap some new threads on it. You could probably get by with the brake line on it if you tucked the excess length under the tranny if you don't kink the line. That would be the cheapest route to go.
