Anybody have any suggestions on a comfortable touring seat for softail deluxe? I have lower back issues, need one that's good for long rides, for both me and my lady.
the Stock Heritage seat is the most comfortable seat I've ever rode on and I've had two custom seats made to fit me. Also I got the wife the bigger touring pillion seat and oversize pad for her comfort..
Might try sitting on them. cause I think they'll fit your Lux..
I just purchased a saddlemen explorer seat on ebay but it pushed me up and forward, not what I was looking for at my size. It had great back support for me and very large cushion for the passenger. If your not a real big person I think it would have worked really well. I turned around and sold it on ebay for what I paid. I've heard the sundowners are really nice too. I went back to the stock heritage seat which is like sitting on a huge pillow, very comfy but no back support. I bought a grasshopper driver's backrest and will likely buy a touring pilon from Harley for the passengers section. I've heard the heritage springer seat is even better.
