I've looked and tried the search function but I can't find front floorboard risers anywhere. Where did they come from. Anyone know ? Thanks, tired of scraping, wife slaps me if I scare her too often.

I would like to lower my FLSTFI, just not an option living in West Virginia or at least not a good idea. I haven't scraped much on it but I try not to even give it a chance to get that low in a turn.

When I was younger a rider was judged on how much of the tire he actually used.

Same boat here. I'd love to figure out some floor board risers.

You will grow huge if you learn to scrape... You'll define limits, techniques etc..
Watch expert vids... Find out that scraping can make you a better Rider

Depends on what you're scraping. Floorboards, no big deal. You don't even need to corner semi-fast to do that. Those in this thread who have never scraped pegs or floorboards are just riding like grannies. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

When you start scraping hard and unyielding parts, like the frame or the primary case, then you're starting to get into dangerous territory, because that will unload the tires, and severely increase the probability of crashing.

And this is why raising the floorboards is not a good idea! The scraping of the boards is a good warning that you are very close to the limit, the boards hinge about 5* after that you are into parts you really don't want to scrape.

Oh I know all about scraping and dragging around turns as well as rider positioning to keep from scrapping. Unfortunately, I also know about growing skin as a result of too much dragging. I just dont need to go that fast anymore, at least that's what I keep telling myself.
