Default This looks expensive

Well I was out for a short ride today and when I pulled my BO back in the garage I was giving it a look over and noticed what appears to be an oil leak (yes I know she's dirty)

Has anyone ever come across this problem before? I have no idea what it is but I'm guessing an oil leak. I had harley upgrade the cam to a se204 a couple months back and since then I've put about 700 miles on it. I think the heat down here in Texas has really been beating my bike up. I typically see 230-270 oil temps.

could be from the air cleaner, the motor vents thru the air cleaner bolts in the heads, if you have an aftermarket air cleaner it dosent vent the oil into the combustion chamber as well as the stock air cleaner... on purpose

The other place to look is the upper pushrod tube not being seated correctly in the head.

Have you ever messed w the tappet covers? Looks like weeping there, as well as the upper oring and crankcase breather are all possible.

With the photos posted there's no way of seeing where the oil, if it's oil, is coming from.

Take it back to Harley for a warranty repair - the parts and workmanship carries a warranty.

Many Harley's spit oil out the breathers into the air cleaner if the oil level is greater than 75% on the stick (when hot).

That appears to be blow-by from the breathers in the head...

You can also get this from cleaning and over oiling your AC.
